China paocai City is located in the east bank area of Minjiang River, Dongpo District, Meishan City, Sichuan Province. It is 1 km east of the downtown area of Meishan City, close to the Minjiang River and built along the river. It has the reputation of "the hometown of pickle in China".

China Pickle City is located in the center of Cheng-Le Economic Belt and the hub of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone. It is 60 kilometers to the north of Chengdu, 50 kilometers to Shuangliu Airport and 50 kilometers to the south of Leshan. It is only 3 kilometers away from Cheng-Yue Expressway, Cheng-Kunming Expressway, Cheng-Mian-Yue Intercity Light Rail, and Provincial Highway 103 and 106 main lines. Sui Zi Mei Expressway and Min Dong Avenue directly through the pickle city. 50 km from Leshan Port, 210 km from Luzhou Port and 320 km from Chongqing Port, China Pickle City is connected by expressways.

Meishan "China Pickle City" has a planned area of 17.91 square kilometers and a built-up area of 5 square kilometers. On December 30, 2018, Meishan "China Pickle City" was established as a national modern agricultural industrial park with the first and only outstanding result in the comprehensive evaluation in China and the whole province. The leading industries in the park are kimchi food and supporting industries. The park focuses on building "one center and six bases", namely, the pickle processing center, the pickle quality testing base, the pickle research and development base, the pickle education and training base, the pickle culture and tourism expo base, the pickle trade and exhibition base, and the pickle organic raw material production base.
